Professor Mojgan Karimi-Zarchi, born in Yazd, is a Full Professor at Iran University of Medical Sciences and a subspecialist in gynecologic oncology. For more than two decades, since 2004, her work has centered on gynecologic cancers, precancerous lesions and fertility preservation.

She ranked first nationally in the gynecologic oncology fellowship examination and second nationally in the obstetrics and gynecology board examination. Today she directs the gynecologic oncology fellowship program at Iran University of Medical Sciences and serves as deputy secretary of the national board of obstetrics and gynecology; a share of her patients are referred by colleagues from other cities.

Completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences, Yazd. Ranked second nationally in the board examination.

2005

Ranked first nationally in the gynecologic oncology fellowship examination.

2007

Completed the gynecologic oncology fellowship at Tehran University of Medical Sciences.

2005 to 2017

Faculty member at Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences, Yazd; promoted to Full Professor during this period.

2017

A year after promotion to Full Professor, moved to Tehran and joined Iran University of Medical Sciences.
